The Sobey School Business Development Centre (in partnership with the Province of Nova Scotia and the Nova Scotia Community Access Program) will be showcasing a free online ‘toolkit’ for businesses at 15 locations across Nova Scotia on September 25th.

This toolkit offers an assessment and resources to help businesses learn how to be more efficient in their everyday operations through the use of online technology. Businesses will find out how to better connect with customers, be more competitive and strategic, as well as streamline existing processes.

The goal of the eBusiness program is to connect the business community with their local Community Access Program (CAP) site to access information, training opportunities, and engage in coaching where available. Following the launch, the program aims to develop individual training sessions to be rolled out across the province based on feedback from businesses attending the launch. Webinars will also be developed.

The launch is free to attend and refreshments will be provided. The launch runs from 1-3pm in the following communities:

Amherst

Antigonish

Baddeck

Bridgetown

Bridgewater

Guysborough

Halifax/Dartmouth

New Glasgow

Scotsville

Sydney

Truro

Wedgeport

Windsor
